Vajrasati Yoga at the Tree of Life Centre
A mindful, embodied style of yoga that brings awareness, breath and movement together.
Vajrasati Yoga brings mindfulness to the heart of yoga practice. Rooted in the rich traditions of yoga philosophy, it’s more than just stretching. Classical postures and their variations are taught with a strong emphasis on breath and energy awareness, so each one becomes a chance to deepen your awareness, steadiness and ease. The result is deep relaxation, a calmer mind, a healthier body and a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you.
Classes range from restorative to more dynamic practice. Postures are usually explored one at a time, with the restful space in between valued as part of the practice, and occasional flowing sequences woven in. Supportive props make every posture available to you, whatever your body can do on the day.
